More information on Step II MBTI

We use Step II in our introductory sessions because it provides a more useful starting point to immediately help you understand the variations in your basic type that make you uniquely the person you are. It is not necessary to have done the basic "4-letter" MBTI before doing Step II.

Step II is much closer to the full conception of type assessment that was developed by the MBTI originators, who decided to first introduce the well-known "4-letter" type (now called "Step I") assessment, based on their progress in achieving a high level of validation of the assessment instrument.  Now, after decades of use and millions of type users, Step II has become perfected as an even more useful tool to provide the insight into personality type that you need.
